Unique gift ideas for guys that will make them smile

Now here’s a question I find myself asking all the time. What do you get somebody who has everything he wants? When you come to a certain age like my parents you have the funds to buy your desires or they are intangibles that can’t be bought. They are picky and don’t like most of what other people buy for them. Clothes are out of the question as people like my dad tend to wear uniforms that are interchangeable and which they like to pick out for themselves. That leaves alcohol and hey there are only so many good bottles of scotch that you can buy.

 

So there comes a time when you are looking everywhere for unique gifts that will show them you care and still make him laugh. One of the most successful presents that I have ever given my dad was the time I got him a collection box of gag over the hill gifts. These included a dice to help you make all those simple decisions that are just impossible to at that age and a comb for bald head. The best over the hill gift in that box were a set of body parts that grew when you added water and had us in splits for the whole party.

 

Another time we got him a collection of unique gifts especially made for golfers. These included trick and exploding golf ball pranks and a potty putter, which was a putting green for when you were in the commode. Gag gifts and funny gifts like these really make my dad’s day and have him talking about it to his friends for the rest of the year till next time.

 

Gift giving is a tricky yet very fulfilling business. I am always on the lookout for places where I can buy interesting unique gift ideas for guys as boys are just so difficult to buy for. One of my favorites is cool gadgets like credit card survival kits that are just a great gift idea for a man. Other similar presents are things like instant underpants and a set of quaffer shot glasses that let you down your shot and chaser one after the other without mixing them.
